Practice Round. Pebble.
It was a foggy day, visibility wasn’t great. However, these four Punju Golf members decided to practice for our upcoming Punju “Ryder Cup” tournament by driving down to Pebble Beach and playing the course. To say that the course is amazing is an understatement. The golf course is in immaculate shape and lives up to its iconic history.
Mr. Ahuja pointed out, that Pebble Beach is the #1 Public Course in the United States. In Scotland, the number one course is St. Andrews, but unlike Pebble Beach St. Andrews has a minimum handicap of 18 to play the course. Technically, two of our foursome would not be allowed to play. Even with the current lack of executive leadership in this country, a pandemic, and racial strife we should be thankful for living in the United States. Two of us would be profiled as assholes and not allowed to play on the #1 course in the United States. God Bless the USA.
Make America Great Again. (Just kidding - Fuck Trump.)
Scores were as follows:
Practice Round - Pebble Beach | |
---|---|
|
|
Biren Sood | |
Sanjay Ahuja | |
Paresh Patel | |
Chetan Chaudhary |
No one will argue that the above scores will abysmal. Arguably, none of us should be allowed to play St. Andrews. The lack of consistency was apparent even with our best golfer (in the group) Mr. Ahuja. If our scores are a prediction of future success we are going to be in trouble during our Punju Golf Tournament.
I have uploaded a few blooper videos here and some corresponding pictures here.
Paresh actually made par on hole #17 at Pebble.
Mr. Chaudhary Shot, middle of the fairway. A rare occurrence, hence the celebration with a photo.
